In Korea, having a "perfect body" seems to have become an invisible pressure on women and "self-discipline" is often excessive glorified. The partner of the brand founder, Ms Ryu, also suffered from this kind of "sacrifice", under constant stress and a hectic schedule, restrictive dieting led to disordered eating and sleep deprivation. As a barista, he crafted a smooth, delicious butter coffee for her. After a month, she was surprised to find her mind and body no longer felt drained, and her physique had become lighter. This sparked the thoughts of "what if body management didn't have to feel like punishment?" or "What if natural foods could become a gentle form of companionship?" We should not lose joy in the pursuit of thinness, nor should we sacrifice health for the sake of appearance. And so, Ostte brand was born.
